Tell us a little about your family (spouse, children, pets, etc.).
Father of two, Alicia and Xander Washie Tai, and husband to Rebecca Tai, a super mom. No pets, but I have a soft spot for calm, friendly Shih Tzus.

What brought you into real estate (or your current role)?
I was at a crossroads in my life and had to decide which path would give me the greatest earning potential so I could better support my wife, who had been carrying our family financially while I pursued my startup dreams. With a newborn and a new mortgage I couldn't comfortably contribute to, I needed a stable, tangible career. One of my high school friends introduced me to real estate, and it turned out to be the opportunity that changed my life.

Favorite Childhood Memory
Taking the ferry with my siblings to Angel Island and riding bikes throughout the island, going on snowboarding trips with my family, and traveling to Asia and Europe during the summers.

Something updated, functional, and not overly expansive.

My Best Day
Waking up feeling refreshed, taking my Porsche for a drive to one of my favorite breakfast spots in the Bay Area, coming home for a hot steam sauna and cold shower, meeting clients for showings, having lunch with the team to discuss new business opportunities, getting in a gym session, picking up my kids from their after-school activities, and ending the day catching up with my wife and kids before getting to bed early.
